What are porch portraits?
I'll be leisurely exploring our vibrant neighborhood over the course of two evenings, cameras in tow. I'll capture professional-quality photos of you and your loved ones in your favorite spots—whether it's your front porch, steps, or lawn. Using the nostalgia of film (35mm) photography, I'll ensure each shot joyfully reflects the unique charm of our community. So kick back, relax, and let's create some timeless memories together.
But why?
I believe in the transformative power of community through art. I hope to encourage collaboration of individuals and community, locally and globally through shared love, resources, and energy.
Driven by my passion for photography and collective movement, I created this annual event that serves as a reminder that we are better TOGETHER. Through collaborative efforts, I hope to continue nurturing vibrant communities within our city and beyond.
Join me on this journey of connection, empowerment, and shared purpose as we capture moments, create memories, and expand our community.
What is included?
1) Two minute photo session of you and your loved ones in front of your home.
2) Two edited downloadable digital files, captured on 35mm film, delivered to your email.
3) One photo print, printed by local gem, All Things Film.
What is the cost of this experience?
This is a PAY WHAT YOU CAN event.

My suggested donation is at least $25. If you feel unable to donate the suggested amount, no worries, I would be happy to include you in this event if funds are tricky. If you feel you have the resources to give more, please do.
100% of the money you send, will be used to send some lucky neighbour kids to camp this summer. Together, I hope to send at least 3 children to camp for a week.
The neighbourhood summer camps will include: Junction Climbing Centre, Growing Chefs and London Girls Rock Camp.
Some important info
The photo sessions will be 2 minutes per house, so please be prepared at your designated time. I will be arriving by bike with some music playing. As I only have 2 minutes, I apologise if I don’t stay to chat. We will catch up another time, I hope.
If it is raining, it’s still a go. If it is a downpour, or snow storm (it can’t be so!) I will reschedule.
Please have fun with this! If you want a serious photo, go for it. If you want to wear ridiculous costumes and make it absurd, go for it! I am happy to capture whatever fits your vibe.
You will receive an email from me 24 hours before the event to confirm your time.
You will receive the digital files from me within a month (hopefully sooner) and I will hand deliver your prints to your mailbox, as soon as Avan and his amazing team at All Things Film have them ready to pick up.
